Mr. Ballow was successful in his petition, which ordered General Motors to send out Safety Notices to more than 500,000 owners of vehicles with originally-installed flexible radiator fans to warn them of the dangers of this product and to ensure that such fans were removed and replaced with fixed blade fans.
